Translation;
One God whose name is truth , unspeakably wonderful Master of both light and darkness.

The fire is called a 'haven' where the mantras and prayers are sung and recited by. The haven or agni in yoga is the sacred place of Lord Shiva place of (life and death smarshan) hence smarshan ghat ; a place on the Ganves R. where lord shivas sacred burning pyre is. This represents the transformational process of life death and creation. See my other bajaans on Shiva.
