Reading of the I Ching Chinese Book of Change by Gerard Menzel

Hexagram 47 Oppression

This is No 3 in a the series plotting the path of our world struggling under the pandemic Covid 19.

The Book gives us answers ti the tasks ahead in order to balance movement and stillness, action inaction, via the forces of Yin and Yang.

In this Hexagram Oppression in the book talks about surrender, how society is in chaos, the need for correct though and stillness, spiritual practice. One must contain our Chi energy and not exhaust it in the outside chaos.  It is not time to take control. Correct timing. If you like the readings you can show your appreciation at the contribution tag above right.

I hope this reading is helpful in some small way.

I you would like to know more about the I Ching book I suggest these authors.

 Hari Krishna Hari Rama

Krishna is the embodiment of love. Sing this ancient mantra to find the spiritual centre of your human heart. Sing to the one creation, the one that gives unconditionally and takes in the same breath. Krishna's message is: Sri Bhagavat Gita Verse 25 This Self is said to be unmanifested, unthinkable and unchangeable. Therefore knowing this to be such, thou should not grieve.

Verse 32 I am the full grown world destroying Time, now engaged in destroying the worlds. Even without thee none of the hostile warriors shall live.

Verse 19 He whose undertakings are all devoid of desires (selfish) and purposes and whose actions have been burnt by the fire of knowledge,... him the wise call a sage

Meditation

We are starting a meditation together with Gerard connecting on Zoom.

Find details in the coming days on my blog wildlotus-healing.blogspot.com.au and wildlotus-arts.blogspot.com.au.

We look at the mind body and spiritual aspects to the ancient study of Dharana meaning concentration according to Patanjali. But meditation is even more than this.

See Patanjali Yoga sutras
Dharana is the sixth of the Eight Limbs of Yoga as described by Patanjali in the Yoga Sutras. It refers to concentration of the mind. Practicing dharana involves fixing the mind on a particular object — either external (such as an image or deity) or internal (such as a chakra).
Dharana is a Sanskrit word which means "concentration."

The 7th stage is Nirvana or enlightenment ; liberation from all earthly attachments.
